When you’re busy and stressed, it can be tempting to reach for fast, easy meals. Look for healthy options and nutritious snacks to make healthy eating easier.
At least once each week, try to do something that’s not part of your regular routine. Take a class, try a new restaurant, or simply walk through a new neighborhood. This will help you feel refreshed and invigorated.
When you’re in the thick of caregiving, it’s easy to become isolated. Stay in contact with friends and family, even if it’s just sending a text message or checking in via email.
Make and keep all of your regular medical and dental appointments, and reach out to a mental health professional if you need additional support.
